Away-day ride to South Cerney and Cirencester
Sunday, 12 August 2018 - 9:30am
Ride or Event Navigation
An away-day ride starting near Coleshill, with coffee at the Cotswold Water Park, followed by lunch in Cirencester where we will negotiate the intricacies of the one-way system. After lunch we join The Welsh Way, an old iron age trade route between Wales and Oxford, and later a drovers route between Wales and London, before returning to the car park near Coleshill via Lechlade.
Ride report
Six-four in favour of women – (according to Head Office stats) OxfordCycling.uk is one of the few clubs to maintain a healthy gender balance. Maybe it’s the lovely routes our leaders choose? Today was no exception.
