Following the popular Boxing Day Tweed Rides we are trying a summer alternative. Dust off your oldest bikes, dig out your stripey blazers, straw hats, linen and lace and join us for a short ride around Oxford City Centre and off to a river side meadow for a picnic lunch (this time it’s bring your own!) Route to be finalised on the day but no more than 10-15 miles.
Ride report
A small select group took advantage of the nice sunny weather to meander round the sights of Oxford before heading to Port Meadow for a picnic lunch. “What’s the occasion?” asked a pressganged passerby photographer”….”Who cares!” was the considered response.
