New Year’s day walk and lunch

James and Rosey invite you to a bring and share New Year’s day lunch
Meet 10 am at James’ in Kennington with food/drink and walking attire. Coffee followed by a walk (route to be decided depending on weather/mud etc. It will probably be either Bagley Wood, or along by the river). Return at lunch time for shared food.
Phone Rosey/James to coordinate savoury/sweet foods to bring, and where to bring it to. Ride report
We welcomed 9 guests, 3 of whom were from Isis. Weather was grey but dry (while we walked at least). A 1 – 1.5 walk over the damp flood meadow to the river, following the tow path to Sandford Lane, and back along Poplar Grove. This was followed by a shared lunch, accompanied by a bottle of duty free champagne and a game of celebrity salad bowl.
