An away-day with a difference: a tour of the Isle of Wight
Ride report
It was hard work at the end, aiming for the 6:20 ferry, but there was a great feeling of achievement as we survived the 1477 metres of ascent (that’s almost 5,000 feet for imperial lovers). The country lanes were almost car free and the coastal roads provided spectacular sea views.
