Sunday ride to Aston and Faringdon
Sunday, 17 February 2013 - 9:30am
Ride or Event Navigation
Oxford – Farmoor – Eynsham – Sutton Hardwick – Yelford – Aston (coffee)
Bampton – Clanfield – Radcot – Faringdon (lunch)
Faringdon – Charney Bassett – Fyfield – Appleton – Wootton – Boar’s HIll – Bayworth – Oxford
Ride report
Lovely day after a misty start. As usual Aston’s customers were mainly cyclists from a variety of local clubs. Bob then led 5 of us on to lunch at the very full Bell Hotel in Faringdon. Carvery pubs always seem to be sought after and are especially popular with cyclists, who usually put too much onto their plates and complain on the way home. This felt like our first “spring” ride.
