Sunday ride to Aston and Frilford

Ride report

Apart from the 2 leaders, only 3 riders turned up to test their waterproofs. Barely half an hour later, the waterproofs having failed the test, we stopped for tea and ginger biscuits at Liz’s while we re-appraised our options. It only took one rider to complain of the cold for everyone to look for the quickest route back home. In the shower by 11.30, this was our shortest ride ever – at CTC Oxford City, we are “nothing if not flexible” (echoing Iago, Othello Act 2, scene 1)
