Sunday ride to Aston and Lechlade
Sunday, 23 March 2014 - 9:30am
Ride or Event Navigation
Ride report
Given the large number of riders, we decided to split into 2 groups, each with its own leader and sweeper, the second group following a few hundred metres behind the first. At coffee we met the West Oxfordshire group who also had very healthy numbers. You may be surprised to see that the Garmin Connect record shows our top speed of 140.6 kph. But those of you familiar with the vagaries of Garmin software will merely roll your eyes and shrug your shoulders. It appears that they are still wrestling with bugs introduced in their major upgrade last January.
We welcomed a new rider and said goodbye to Steve and Jan until next autumn, with our thanks for their support and leadership during the winter months.
