Familiar route to Aston Pottery for coffee, then a circuitous route to Stanford in the Vale for a picnic lunch (from the Coop).

Ride report
A dry, if cloudy, start in a light wind, saw us speeding towards Aston in good time for coffee and cake with the sun coming out to greet us. On then via the almost deserted country lanes north of Aston towards our almost complete circumnavigation of the airbase at Brize, passing through downtown Carterton where Sue’s bike suddenly veered off the road to visit its birthplace at The Road Room bike shop.We enjoyed an enhanced picnic lunch from the Coop in Stanford in the Vale – enhanced by Mr Blackies kind provision of fresh strawberries, before a gentle cruise back home.
