Ride report
Eleven set off into the wind which as luck would have it, was on our backs later in the day. Between Stanlake and Aston our esteemed leader was verbally abused by the passenger/moron in a car who hung out of the window, demonstrating a complete lack of knowledge of the Highway Code and declined to stop to debate the finer points of the law with the rest of us.
Numbers declined on route leaving 6 for the summit bid on the White Horse Hill, only to find that, horror of horrors, there were no mince pies to be had and that we’ll have to wait till December for the mince pie run.
