Ride report
Surprising how quickly we warm up even in 4°C and under half an hour of hail (much preferred to rain, as most of it bounces off). Our Mothering Sunday ride took us to The Black Horse in Checkendon whose back to nature charm didn’t fail to satisfy as we lounged in armchairs like the ones in your sitting room. As always, we shared lunch with mountain bikers and eccentric motorcyclists – but not a mother in sight.
