Following the recent relaxation of restrictions, we will retain the booking system for rides, but will increase the maximum number to 24. This means that we may break into 2 groups at the start.

Sunday ride to Charlbury (first group)
Sunday, 20 September 2020 - 9:30am
Until further notice, all our rides must be pre-booked to ensure a maximum group size of 6. Remember that you need to be logged in to see the booking form (below the map).
This is the first of 2 groups for this fairly hilly ride to the Old Shed in Charlbury with about 400m of ascent over 54k. The second group will leave half an hour later.
There are some changes on the website, the most notable being that the map is no longer an image (ie a photo) but is now an embedded link to Ride with GPS. Unlike a photo, you can zoom this new map to see the route in as much detail as you like. For example, you can zoom in (using the + sign) to see exactly where the start is. You also have the option of going directly to the Ride with GPS website.
This was the first of two rides to the Old Shed at Charlbury. The group of 5 (1 rider who had booked failed to turn up) met outside M&S in Summertown where we chatted to Iraj before setting off. It was a lovely sunny day and we did our 3 usuals of coffee, cake and chat before returning home.
