Ride report
Wedded to old habits, 3 riders arrived 30 minutes late at the start despite ample warning that we had planned to set off earlier than usual. Amazingly, all 3 managed to join the ride, one even arriving at coffee before the main group! Our thanks go to Garmins, mobile phones and the route published on our website. As we ate our picnics on the steps of the monument to Robert Loyd-Lindsay, contemplating the valley below, we consoled ourselves with the thought that although none of us knew anything about Sir Robert and none of us was able to translate the Latin inscription, at least we could google it when we got home.
