Sunday ride to Frilford and Shrivenham

Sunday, 18 June 2017 - 9:30am

The loop before lunch is to view the organic Westmill Wind Farm Co-op –  the first 100% community owned onshore wind farm to be built in the south-east of England.

Ride report

Blue skies all-around for our ride west to the Vale of White Horse with 18 people for coffee and 7 for lunch. We had a brief and interesting stop at the green burial ground outside Shrivenham before gliding back into Oxford through many beautiful Cotswolds villages. This was the hottest ride of the year, fortunately not too hilly.
