Ride report
The early start on this promisingly sunny morning did not deter 17 riders from riding to coffee – probably the largest number in the club’s recent history. We were delighted to welcome an ex-member who was visiting from Sheffield – until she recommended a detour up Dragon Hill. However, 2 others were persuaded to join her, regarding it as useful practice for the annual Mince Pie Ride, which this year will take place on Sunday 7th December. After lunch in Shivenham, the church of St Andrew attracted some attention, (part of its west hall possibly dating back to the late 12th century.)
