Sunday ride to Frilford and Uffington

Ride report

Probably the worst weather forecast this year: chance of early rain > 95%,  6°C “feeling like” 1° in a strong south westerly, battered by gusts in the mid 30s (mph). Despite the forecast, a few hardcore riders turned up in Broad St, taking the puddle half empty view of the (varyingly damp) weather forecast, though to be fair, with heavy rain at breakfast, the puddles were all very full. The weather we had was much as pictured, with 2 light showers  (plus a deluge while we had lunch), a lot of get you home wind, but hard graft to get to lunch. Most of the day was light cloud and a surprising amount of blue sky and sun.
