Sunday ride to Kirtlington and Weston-on-the-Green

Sunday, 17 July 2011 - 9:30am

Ride report

This was Jo’s first go at leading a ride and she had the luck to get her first puncture EVER, when barely out of Oxford, on the road leading to Woodeaton. After a repair job assisted by James and Steve, with a few jokes about making sure to do it properly or there would be another puncture… there was then a second puncture down the road. After another repair, we made it a bit late to a new coffee stop at Kirtlington post office which has a nice tea room which can fit up to around 12 people.

We then went on to lunch, and got rained on just in the 3 minutes before getting to the pub. (If it hadn’t been for those punctures, we would have been nice and dry!)
