Sunday ride to Ramsden and Duns Tew

Sunday, 20 May 2018 - 9:30am

An opportunity to revisit the pretty lanes north of the county passing through the Tews. A moderately hilly ride with most of them before lunch.

Ride report

One leader to coffee, another to lunch and a third to lead back home. Teamwork à la OxfordCycling.UK. Delightful route, perfect weather. The flies turned out to be more challenging than the hills – they hit your face like hailstones, and if you forgot to keep your mouth closed….The advice is to swallow whole rather than than chew, and then quickly wash down with plenty of water. Today was also Bike Oxford day and we met dozens of them – but why pay £32 when you can ride the same routes with us for free?
