Ride or Event Navigation
Ride report
Twelve set off for this longer than usual ride, with waterproofs packed just in case. According to our Garmin (see the Connect link), our maximum speed was 227.3km/h. As they say, “to err is human, but it takes a computer to really louse things up”. At coffee, 2 members from Witney joined us for the ride to lunch in Eastleach. Peter led us on some interesting lanes and a fair bit of bumpy off-road as we crossed the river at Northmoor lock – a first for some of us, and preferably not to be repeated on skinny tyres pumped up to 100+ psi.
