Sunday ride to Stratton Audley and Quainton
Sunday, 30 September 2018 - 9:30am
Ride or Event Navigation
See below map for lunch arrangements. Please book before the weekend.
A flat ride with Isis (Rides for Women) to coffee at Stratton Audley Barn and continuing on to lunch at The George and Dragon pub in Quainton before climbing up Brill Hill and back into Oxford.
Ride report
A good turnout of Isis (Rides for Women) and OxfordCycling.UK members at Broad Street meant there were three groups heading out on the beautiful autumnal ride to Stratton Audley Barn for coffee. Slow service at coffee together with an unexpected off-road section (the ride leader sends her apologies) resulted in a later than planned lunch stop. Leaving The George and Dragon, we set off for Brill Hill but the much-anticipated fast descent was spoilt by a large and slow-moving tractor 🙁
