Sunday ride to Stratton Audley (group 2)
Sunday, 18 April 2021 - 10:00am
Ride or Event Navigation
Start at Elsfield Turn. Anti-clockwise route around outskirts of Bicester with coffee at Stratton Audley Barn.
It was a beautiful day as we set off in support of Iraj’s training regime for Tehran, on a frequently spectacular route. However, we unanimously decided to terminate the official ride at little early at Islip in favour of a cold one in the garden at the Red Lion. On our journey back to Oxford, Barbara introduced us to what must be the best bridleway of all time, only 3.7km but perfectly paved and totally traffic free for as far as the eye could see!
