Sunday ride to tackle the Brill Spokes

Sunday, 23 July 2023 - 9:30am

A short ride to coffee, followed by 3 ascents of and 2 descents of Brill Hills where we will have picnic lunch (provided, but please let ride leader know of any special dietary requirements) followed by 2 descents and the remaining ascent and return to Oxford – 914m of ascent (3,000 ft in 53 miles.) No need to do all the climbs! You’re still welcome to enjoy our picnic 🙂
Contributions to EMpowered People will be welcome at the picnic or you can go online here if you would like to make a voluntary donation to EMpowered People
If you would like to see what they get up to you can see a video of  The Cracking Cotswold Caper weekend, led by Ian and Penny, and supported by Clare and Jon. Click here to see video.

Ride report

Overnight and early morning rain cleared to give us a sunny if windy ride to Waterperry for coffee and the ups annd downs of Brill Hill. A good turnout meant that once again we were able to make a significant contribution – this year to the amazing work of EMpowered People charity – currently c £200 and rising. Thanks to everyone for their generosity and contribution to a lovely ride.
