Sunday ride to Thame and Chearsley
Sunday, 20 August 2017 - 9:30am
Ride or Event Navigation
A fairly flat ride to Thame for coffee with some “good” hills before lunch (including up to Brill). After lunch it will be less hilly although Horton cum Studley to Woodperry can seem tough when you’re tired!
Ride report
Nice and easy riding until coffee. Then some hills: Brill from the south east is the easiest of the Brill climbs, while Ashendon from the north west is by far the hardest. Some were tempted to take a short cut home from Worminghall, but that would have meant missing out on the climb to Beckley and the fast descent from Elsfield.
