Ride report
750 metres of ascent isn’t much, but most of it was squashed into just 17k before and after lunch. As we descended Small Dean Lane, taking care over the rough surface and dark shadows, we remembered climbing this beast on our Chilterns Special last summer. Not sure whether we preferred the climb or the descent… As always the fast descent into Chinnor tests the nerves and skill. We recommend taking it steady.
