Sunday ride to Thame and Watlington

Sunday, 4 June 2017 - 9:30am

Kingston Hill is the salient feature of this ride, followed by 25 km into the heart of the Chilterns with plenty more climbs, before we emerge for lunch in Watlington

Ride report

Twenty six for coffee is a record for our club, matched only once previously, at the end of last April. In anticipation of a large number, we booked the upper floor of Treacles Tea House in Thame (and filled it – see photos). We made slower progress than expected and took a shortcut to lunch, missing out on 10km of good climbs. But we’ll be back.
