Sunday ride to Thrupp and Long Crendon

Sunday, 28 September 2014 - 9:30am

Ride report

Nineteen of our City riders set off, 17 of whom continued to lunch in Long Crendon – that’s the largest number we have had for lunch, larger even than the annual Christmas ride to the Penny Black. The photo illustrates a ride leader’s nightmare, when the planned route is unexpectedly foiled. After a longer than usual coffee break, we decided to offer the Brill circuit just to our fittest riders, while the rest of us took the shortcut via Oakley.
