The clocks will have changed overnight so we are taking advantage with the first longer ride of the year. Lunch at the basic Black Horse pub to avoid the Mother’s Day difficulties of finding places that aren’t full of mothers and their offspring.

The lanes around Checkendon, it seems, were made for cyclists. Certainly not wide enough for 2 cars to pass. Just warm enough to sit outside for lunch. Just.
