Sunday ride to Wallingford and Stoke Row
Sunday, 17 April 2016 - 9:30am

Ride report
Five riders opted for the half-day ride, while the other 5 continued to lunch in Stoke Row. We had a new rider who hadn’t ridden for some years, who insisted on standing most of the time instead of changing to a lower gear. We discovered later that the reason for ignoring our advice was the saddle was “a medieval instrument of torture”, far worse than the pain of standing for the best part of 30 miles.
