Sunday ride to Weston-on-the-Green and Great Tew
Sunday, 22 November 2015 - 9:30am
Ride or Event Navigation
To avoid the busy market, we will meet 50m further up the road, near the end of Turl Street
Ride report
This first cold winter ride, just a few degrees the right side of freezing, didn’t put off our riders who were rewarded with an excellent route north via the 3 Aston villages and then to a favourite pub for lunch in Great Tew. Ninety kilometres is quite a long ride for this time of year, so we decided to take a short cut home from Wootton via Woodstock. Thirteen at the start, with 3 more for lunch, is a healthy start for the winter season and we managed to capture what we have named “The Valentine’s Day tree” (see photo).
