Sunday ride to Weston-on-the-Green and Ramsden

We may well meet up at lunch with riders doing the all-comers 100 mile route. You are welcome to join them for the rest of their ride.

Ride report

Perhaps the nicest day this year, green and sunny. Several of our regulars were involved with the 100 mile ride, but even so a group of 9 set off for coffee at The Milk Shed. As we arrived, the 100 milers were just leaving. The most important thing now was for us to get to lunch at Ramsden before they did, which we managed with ease, given that our route was shorter and that they suffered a puncture. After lunch, we had just 13 miles left; they had another 50 to go. Unsurprisingly, none of us was tempted to join them.
