Ride report
As the group gathered in Broad Street, we were pleased to welcome 2 new faces for our ride to the Milk Shed at Weston-on-the-Green and then on to Thame for lunch at the Coffee House. The Coffee House for lunch? But the Coffee House is not a pub! There was some shaking of heads and mutterings of discontent before a splinter group made a detour to find a more traditional watering hole. Having satisfied their cravings, they joined us for the rest of lunch. Was it just a coincidence that they then decided to take a shortcut home? Meanwhile the rest us continued on as planned, for a further 40km, south from Thame and back via the delightful Haseleys, Great Milton, Cuddesdon, Denton and Garsington. One of our group had at least another 25km to reach home. But this was child’s play for someone who had ridden the 200 mile Boundary Ride a few weeks earlier. Even after tackling Muswell Hill…
