Sunday ride to Weston-on-the-Green and Upper Heyford
Sunday, 30 October 2016 - 9:30am
Ride or Event Navigation
Note change of lunch venue: Bell Inn instead of Barley Mow
Ride report
Twenty one from City plus another half dozen from Isis makes a large group for a coffee stop. And The Milk Shed is already busy enough on a Sunday morning with locals and (on this occasion) cyclists from Abingdon filling all the available spaces. The prospect of a 40 minute wait for food prompted a change of venue and we rode a couple of kilometres up the road to The Old Flight House, which we would visit more often if it were open earlier than 11am on a Sunday morning.
