Sunday ride to Witney and Finstock

A circuitous flat ride to Cogges for coffee and cake. Then a few hills as we go north of Witney and visit an old favourite pub for lunch in Finstock.

Ride report

The forecast was for rain at times, occasionally heavy but we rode the whole ride with just 2 drops of rain and lovely sunshine. The roads were awash after lunch so it had obviously rained heavily just previously. We had coffee and cakes at Cogges and went onto the Plough at Finstock for lunch. The photo was taken at the back as the front was scaffolded.
