Sunday ride to Witney and Enstone
Sunday, 1 October 2017 - 9:30am
Ride or Event Navigation
To Witney for coffee via the Tar Road and then north to Enstone for lunch with a few hills here and there (810m of ascent).
Ride report
This ride will be best remembered for the fast pace set by 2 young ladies that the rest of us unwisely felt obliged to follow – if only to shout from behind “left turn coming up”. It will also be remembered for the excellent choice of route – making good use of the traffic-free lanes in the north of our County. There was a moment of navigational confusion explained by the fact that Cogges Lane and Tar Road are in fact one and the same.
